Singapore is popularly known as the Disneyland of the East. Top rated tourist attractions in Singapore include Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, Changi Chapel & Museum, Jurong Bird Park and Sentosa - Underwater World. Additionally, attractions like Singapore Zoological Gardens, Singapore Zoo - Night Safari, Sri Mariamman Temple and Sultan Mosque (Masjid Sultan) are also famous.

The Singapore Zoo that is spread across an area of 28 hectares of tropical rainforest has 2,500 animals from 315 species that are housed in animal enclosures divided by moats. Bengal white tigers, white rhino, polar bears and apes like orang-utans are the major animals in the zoo.

The world’s first dedicated night zoo, ‘The Night Safari’ is another popular tourist attraction of Singapore. Spanning an area of 40 hectares of lush jungle, the zoo is inhabited by 1,000 nocturnal animals, belonging to 115 species. Additionally, the zoo is also a wildlife rescue centre and focuses on breeding programmes for endangered species.

The Singapore Botanic Gardens is spread across an area of 52 hectares. It has speciality gardens of frangipanis, roses, ferns and desert plants. The National Orchid Garden in Singapore has 1,000 species and 2,000 hybrids of flora.  

The National Museum of Singapore was constructed in the neo-classical style using glass and steel. It is Singapore's oldest museum and contains 11 National Treasures and Singapore History 7 Living Galleries.

Sakaya Muni Buddha Gaya Temple or Temple of a Thousand Lights is a famous Buddhist temple in Singapore. The temple is famous for its 300-tonne and 15 metre high Buddha statue.

The Singapore Art Museum has the world's largest public collection of South-east Asian art. The arts, displayed in 13 galleries, consist of over 4,000 traditional and contemporary works of 20th century South-east Asian art.

Singapore Flyer, 42 stories high and 492 inches in diameter, is the world's largest Ferris wheel. It has 28 capsules, each of which can seat one passenger at a time. Singapore Science Centre houses 850 exhibits, which are dedicated to space, climate change, the genius of Da Vinci, energy, the atrium and the Kinetic Garden.

At the sandy white beaches of Singapore, located in the East Coast and Sentosa Island, visitors can explore the Underwater World and view leafy sea dragons, jellyfish, stingrays and sharks.
