The climate of the country is temperate, with no extremes of cold and hot weather. Summer season, extending from the months of June to September, varies from warm to cold. This season is also accompanied with periodic rainfall.
During this time, the temperature in the plain reaches up to 30° Celsius. While during the winters, the temperature does not go below 5° Celsius. On the other hand, the lowlands and the hilly areas of the country have a moderate climate, with the annual average temperature of about 10° Celsius.
A weather phenomenon known as Fohn can be witnessed in the country throughout the year. This weather phenomenon is characterised by unexpected warm wind that brings air of low relative humidity to the north of the Alps, when the southern face of the Alps get rainfall.
The wettest conditions prevail in the Ticino canton and the high Alps, which experiences heavy rainfall. The country tends to have precipitation all year round, with its peak during the summer time. The best time to visit the country is during summer, extending from June to September.
We are a newly married couple planning to spend our honeymoon in Switzerland. Please help us with a few questions.
Is visiting in June a good time ?
How will the climate be? Is it chilling or will it be normal?
I want to know some nice hotels for our stay.
And finally where in Switzerland is more fun? Zurich or Interlaken?

Will i be able to go skiing and snow boarding at this point of time?
