Other public transportation

Public transportation in Sydney is quite effective and elaborate. Ferries are a convenient mode of transport. Ferry passes, sometimes combined with attraction-admission passes are available from the ferry ticket office at Circular Quay.
The hub of Sydney ferries is at Circular Quay located at the north of CBD. The Ferry service operates through Parramatta River connecting Olympic Park, Luna Park and Darling Harbour. Ferries to Cockatoo Island and Garden Island are also available.
Cycling is a popular way to move around Sydney and cycles are allowed everywhere except some freeway tunnels. Cycles can be hired from many locations at reasonable prices.
