When it comes to dining, Taipei offers several options that range from simple running kitchens on the street to indoor fine dining restaurants and bars.

Most of the fine dining places are situated along the Anhe and Dunhua roads of eastern districts. In these restaurants, one can taste all kind of international fares like Japanese, European or Thai.

Local cuisine in Taipei has an influence of Fujian province, as some of the people in the city have migrated from there. However, the major indigenous cuisine that is Chinese style of cooking was brought to the mainland by the Han migrants.
