The bus terminal of Wellington was formerly called the Lambton Interchange. It is connected to the railway station of the city via a subway under Featherstone Street. Buses operate from the station at regular intervals and travel to different parts of the city as well as neighboring areas.
Buses are operated by the government as well as private operators. Buses run at an interval of 15-20 minutes throughout the day. Shuttles also operate through the city and can be boarded from the bus terminal itself.
Various facilities are available at the bus station like ATMs and foreign exchange counters. A seating area is also there at the bus station along with eating joints and drinking water facility.
There are private operators as well as buses operated by the Government. Buses run in Wellington at a regular interval of 10-15 minutes.
There are shuttle services too operated by various private companies which provide door to door service. Buses operate in the city under the tag of Metalink.
Deluxe buses are available which have larger seats than the standard buses.
