Museum of Wellington City & Sea

The Museum of Wellington City and Sea  tells about the culture and maritime history of the place.

It is housed in Bond Store, close to the waterfront and has a collection of various objects and technology, which give visitors a peek in the maritime history of the place. One can reach this museum by cable car.

The museum is located close to the Lambton Quay. The museum keeps holding various activities from time to time. Some of the activities available within the museum are Ship n Chips which is a cruise in the river, scavenger hunt, which is a adventure cruise and the Tales and Rails, which is again a water cruise.

Personalised museum tours are also available and cost approximately $10 per person per hour.
