Wulai Atayal Museum

The Wulai Atayal Museum in the Wulai district exhibits the culture and history of the Atayal tribe. The museum is a three storey building with several exhibition halls. Tourists visiting this museum can learn about the tradition, lifestyle, customs as well as festivals of Wulai.  

Guided tours are arranged by the museum management. Tours are arranged twice a day (10 am and 2 pm) except Monday.
 
Tourists coming from Taipei can reach the museum by taking the Taiwan High Speed Railway at the Taipei station. From there one can transfer to Wulai in Xindian Bus. One can also take the metro and get down at Xindian station and then board a bus to reach Wulai. Tourists driving from Taipei can take National Freeway 1 and 2 to reach Wulai via Beiyi and Xinwu road.     

Timing:  9.30 am – 5 pm (Tuesday – Friday)
               9.30 am – 6 pm (Saturday – Sunday)
               9.30 am – 5 pm (Monday and National or Deferred Holiday)

                              31.081 INR (Student group with 20 plus people)

Free entry (Senior citizen 65 year old and above, Children under 120cm height, Disabled with one company and volunteers)
