The Islet-Ring Road passes through the Hulishan canon platform, Yanwu Bridge and the Wuyuan Bay and airport. The total length of the road is 31 kilometres and it is used as a race track for the annual International Marathon of Xiame.
It also connects various tourist destinations like the Shangli exhibition centre and reservoir. Towards the eastern part of the road, there is a lawn with 97 life size statues of marathon athletes in various poses. This place offers views of the surroundings including the Greater Jinmen Island.
