Some of the other major attractions of the city are Tugu Monument, Affandi Museum, Central Museum Yogyakarta, Plaosan Temples Yogyakarta and Gembira Loka Zoo, to name a few.
Apart from sightseeing, one can also indulge in outdoor activities like trekking, fishing, rafting and hiking. Tourists can enjoy beach activities like swimming and surfing at the Parangtritis beach, Ngobaran beach and Glagah beach that are located in the southern part of the city.
