What is the chief attraction in Bangkok than the beach . How for is it from Pattaya? Is 3 days sufficient to cover the whole place. And will i find any bus services from Pattaya to Bangkok?
Depends on what is your objective. Bangkok has all the attractions - historic places, cruises, beach, nightlife and shopping. However, Pattaya is chiefly a beach and nightlife destination.
3 days may not be enough to cover both Bangkok and Pattaya - plan at least 6 days unless you're going to both destinations solely for nightlife. For beach and nightlife 3 days are enough. However, if you are going with a family and you are planning things like shopping, sightseeing etc. then Bangkok will need at least 3-4 days alone. Pattaya can be covered in another 3 days. Do remember that everything in Thailand, except the night spots and movies, close by 10 pm.
Bangkok to Pattaya is a 3 hour journey. Attractions in Bangkok include River Cruise, Royal Palace, Temple of Emerald Buddha, Temple of Rising Sun, Wat Pho and Floating Market. In Pattaya, go for the beach and endless nightlife.
Pattaya is 2.5 hr from Bangkok Airport. Its a must visit place atleast for youngster & for that even 3 days would feel less.Pattaya has superab beaches, mainly there are streets named as Soi-1 to soi 10, where u can find endless hotels ranging from 700-6000, I suggest Hotel high five if u r a budget traveller, & in front of that there is a Indian resturant & I can bet there Dal Makhani tastes better than anywhere.Pattaya beach is 5-10 min walking distance thn there is coral island which can be easily reasvhed by ferry, there u can do water sports, excellent beach.other thn beaches there r some muesuem & parks to have fun & the nightlife of life pattaya is boom boom.for local travel there r tuktuk.
