Could you tell me whether Egypt is safe for a Tourist. I hear that there is lot of turmoil happening there. There is a real danger of kidnapping by terrorists ?? Please let me know your valuable opinion.
Glad to hear its safe - I was also planning a trip. But is it ok to go on your own-without the tour opearators? I read Police escorts are provided to tour buses between Aswan and Abu Simbel, Luxor/Cairo and Hurgadah, etc. Also, read trips for Abu Simble start at 4/5 am - if the overnight train from Cairo reaches Aswan at about 7 am, can one take the trip the same day? May be your friend can give some helpful feedback. Thanks in advance! Aditi
