What is the chief attraction in Bangkok than the beach . How for is it from Pattaya? Is 3 days sufficient to cover the whole place. And will i find any bus services from Pattaya to Bangkok?
Other than beaches, there are plenty of temples to visit in Bangkok. Safari World & Marine Park are other major attractions. Atleast 4 days required to cover both Bangkok & Pattaya There are frequent shuttle services available between Bangkok & Pattaya which takes around 2 hrs 150kms approx.
Bangkok is famous for its temples, cheap shopping and night life. Pattaya is around 2 hours drive from Bangkok Airport from where you can take a comfortable coach journey for approx Rs.400/- ( Thai Baht 125). You can also get buses from Bangkok City. You need to stay for 2 days each in Bangkok and Pattaya. However, if you are not going to Pattaya, three days is enough for Bangkok.
If you keep a day for Kanchanaburi, which is about 2 hrs from Bangkok and you can see the Tiger temple there. The only place in the world where you can take pics with 10-15 different tigers of different sizes other than visit the war cemetary and the famos bridge over river kwai. I liked Kanchanaburi. The prices in shops are also generally lower than Bangkok.
Hi, As everyone said temples in plenty But the main attraction is the shopping. Shopping as compared to India is cheap and you will find all the ladies and kids stuff sold in shops in Mumbai are partly from Bangkok and sold for 5 times more. For shopping you will find the time short.
