I always wanted to see the Petronas towers. But i cant go to Malaysia only to see that so i need to know the other attractions i can visit over there too and the days i have to spend there.
Petronas Tower & KL towers are the two attractions in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). But much more attractive is the beach resort of Langkawai (1 hour's flight from Kuala Lumpur) and Genting Highland (a hill resort which is 2 hours drive from Kuala Lumpur). Do not miss them. Spend 3 days in Langkawi and 2 days in Genting Highland.
Hi Rohit, Petronas Towers are indeed very nice and exciting, but more exciting & truly entertaining are the Genting Highlands. It is resort where u must spend at least 3 days... it is indeed one of the best places I have visited.... The way to reach the Genting Highland is by cable car. what a heavenly experience. A MUST see place.
There is plenty of info available on KL its self, so may i suggest if your a beach person,or you like some chill out time, you got to to the Perhentian islands off the far east coast. Its a laid back, very casual destination, where all you will need is a sarong or shorts. Its not complicated to get there from from KL.You can get a train to the closest jetty railway station, then a short cab ride to the jetty.A short ferry ride then gets you there. Do a google! Perhentian islands Or fly up cheap with Air Asia to the closest town if your in a hurry. All hotels/guest houses are right on the sand, there is no ugly highrise or roads between you and the beach, and all class of hotels are available, and many cafes and bars line the beach. The water is beautifull and crystal clear. 3 days here is nice, but longer is better

Dear Rohit,
You can go to Genting Highland & spend 1 night & 2 days there they have a gr8 Entertainment park along with food courts and even a Casino. You can go to Langkwai and spend a day there too. In KL if you are for electronic shopping you should visit Louyat Plaza where you will find latest n happening gadgets and electronics stuffs. You can visit Chinatown where you get all duplicate stuffs from watches to whatever you can think of. All the best.
