it was nice week end

Had a very good experience at Khanvel Resorts when we went there in the last week of Feb 2010. We were a family of 4 adults + 1 child and stayed in 2 separate Deluxe rooms. The resort is clean and maintained well. Rooms are spacious enough and can comfortably house a family of 4 (they have a big sofa cum bed in the room). The cottages are also a lovely option and would recommend them. Resort itself is quite big and has a swimming pool, a separate kiddie pool, garden etc.. The kiddie pool is very big and was a big source of enjoyment for my 2 year child. THe buffet spread was also very impressive in variety and food was quite decent in taste. I must say that we were quite happy with the service which was very prompt at all times. The resort had organised programs like games, folk dances, karaoke singing, belly dancing and a DJ nite to keep us entertained. All in all a very happy experience and stay at Khanvel Resorts !

Best Experience: Service is very prompt. They attended to our requests almost immediately whether it was housekeeping, room service or the maintenance dept.

Worst Experience: The A/C was terribly ancient and made noise like a tractor breathing its last......

over all good experience

In a busy choatic life which a young Indian leads today a lazy vacation is a much needed neccessity!!! Mini 3-4 days stay at Khanvel Resort can helped us rejuvnate. Adding to the spice of it was a family get together which we conducted out there..

Best Experience: In all we were a huge no. of member almost 85.. so we have the manager helps us organising our entertainment activities.. by the pool side.

Worst Experience: We as such had no worst experience.. but being so many in numbers.. arrangement for food got delayed just once.. as a similar numbered group was also at the resort!!!

Knavel resort is a place i have stayed in more than 25 times.(i need to go there as all officeial programmes are held there) It is rather easy to access from Bombay provided you are driving down. By any other mode of travel like train it is too tedious. The resort is well made and well kept. the rooms are the klargest i have seen. each room is 27 x 14 feet, and all rooms are delux complete with balcony and bath tub. only lacks a refrigerator. the balconies offer a great view of the pool side and river and the forests across.

Worst Experience: the food is simply pathetic. all their packages include food so you dont have a choice. no ala carte available so you have to eat the buffet, and remember it is pure veg. room service is also extremely slow.
