its a average place you can stay for a night which is nearby to railway station and some of the shopping area

Hotel is very nice with very spacious rooms and location very convenient, near the Railway Station. I used to stay in this Hotel since 1991 when I visit Thanjavur on my way to Nagore.

Best Experience: Food available was excellent. The service of the staff was excellent, that I have got reservation through phone on my way back from Nagore, though almost all rooms are full.

Worst Experience: I have no worst experience at all.

The staff and officials of the unit are very cooperative and informative which helped the visitors a lot they can further proceed their tour with the infomation provided by the staff without anydifficulty.

The overall experience at Tamilnadu hotel was quite good. We made the bookings over phone without any advance payment. The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was also spacious and clean with running hot water. The service was also decent. The hotel is also quite centrally located and the famous brihadeeshwara temple is a short drive from here. The flipside was that the restaurant serves hardly anything, just a handful of items, and the taste nothing to speak of. But nearby is hotel saravana where you get decent south Indian fare. If you are gong with your car and driver, the driver will have to sleep in the car itself.

Best Experience: They offer a senior citizen discount and make sure you avail of it if there is a senior citizen accompanying you

Worst Experience: Nothing really bad.
