India's largest media house, the Times of India Group recently picked up a significant minority stake in HolidayIQ. HolidayIQ is now seeking to implement a number of alliances with other relevant players. HolidayIQ believes it will benefit from strategic alliances with organisations in the Media, Internet and Travel spaces. The primary purpose of these Alliances would be to either increase audience reach or to enhance revenue options.

HolidayIQ is now looking for a Manager – Alliances to spear-head creation of strategic partnerships for the company. This is a senior level position and will directly report to the CEO of HolidayIQ.com. The Manager – Alliances will be expected to constantly develop a list of prospective organisations, craft propositions for strategic alliances and pursue the deals from beginning to closure.

The Manager – Alliances will have 5 to 7 years work experience & would be from one of the target industries, ie. from Media (TV or Print) or Internet (preferably a portal) or from the Travel industry. Prior experience in Business Development and/or sales is necessary. The job will require regular domestic travel and a limited amount of international travel. The person should be a natural networker with a demonstrated ability to identify, develop and close deals with multiple organisations. A deep interest in travel would be an advantage.
