It is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet not far from the airport/railway station- the airport and railway station are only about 7 kilometers from Vasudevam. And they offer you complimentary pick-up and drop from airport/railway station. The rooms (they are air-conditioned) are clean and spacious. A small living room comes along with the room. It was as cut off from the world as it could get. The moment I stepped into Annapara (it sprawls over a whopping 375 acres), I was transported into an ethereal world. Whether it was taking in the breathtaking beauty of the surroundings of Annapara along the ?Vythiri Wilderness Trail? or soaking in the sights and sounds of Wayanad like a game safari in tiger country Muthanga, trekking to the primordial Edakkal Caves or a bout of boating at the vast expanse of lake in Pookote, my trip to Annapara was more than just a run-of-the-mill holiday- it was an unforgettable experience.
