At the first sight of the Snowpeaks resort I felt a little disappointed, as we had travelled quiet a lot to reach the destination & the exterior was not upto the mark, but wow!! the moment we stepped inside the feeling changed to ecstasy. It was too good, the interior was done up with bright colours and it was warm, the staff also accorded a warm welcome & I was relieved that our journey was not in vain. The rooms are well maintained & the staff are too courteous. More » « Hide

Overcrowded, teeming with hundreds, lakhs, millions, you name it…. with people, always on the run, not looking at what is happening whether a person has fallen down, or does he require any assistance, if he has, nothing just rushing in, getting in and out. Everywhere sea of humanity and utter chaos. But in the midst of all this, there is a sense of excitement, a sense of belonging to a great city of Mumbai, where every youth aspires to become rich overnight. I was amazed at the jest, with which every shop in Mumbai was decorated for Christmas and New Year as if the 26/11 incident had not taken place and all the Mumbaikars were quite calm and doing their business in a very calm manner. I admired their spirit. This sense of calmness and oneness should be there in every Indian. More » « Hide

Coorg also known as the Scotland of India and Kashmir of the South, with simple folk and a very peaceful place away from the hustle & bustle of city life. We breathed in the pure oxygen all around us. A very quiet atmosphere prevails, where your senses get immersed in the beauty & serenity of the mountains & and the greenery around you. The aroma of the coffee awakens the senses which are in a slumber with the cool air around you. A sort of lethargy creeps all over you, when you take a walk in the woods, as your sight is rewarded with all sorts of birds chirping & the various sounds made by them is heavenly music for the ears.
