The Sea Queen hotel on the Coast in Kozhikode was having only two great pluses!
First was not within its command- the location- sitting on the idyllic beach of kozhikode. The sounds of the waves in the bedroom left me with a great experience & the early morning salty air was rejuvenating.
the second was the over indulgent staff who were only too ready to please the guests. very courteous and pleasant.
The price tag was very easy on the pocket! Very affordable though not very easy to get rickshaws to get to town. cabs are available and the staff will help you out. the business centre is functional and you are net connected !
The hotel was undergoing a renovation and hence their restaurant was closed though room service ensured body and soul was kept together! The lift didn\'t work, the access to the rooms were by way of makeshift steel stairs. Sturdy though temporary. The rooms were poorly maintained and had seen better days. The musty smell and dampness left you a little jaded.
