This destination is near Neral (I could not find Neral from the list, hence Karjat was selected..... This destination is near Neral (I could not find Neral from the list, hence Karjat was selected as it is very close to this place). Our group consisted of 12 people in all ages right from 10 to 70 years. All of us thoroughly enjoyed this picturesque place, raw, not very modern, in sync with nature. Its called Saguna Baug. We were a gang of 13 who wanted to enjoy the splendour of Ooty and came back with fond memories... .. We were a gang of 13 who wanted to enjoy the splendour of Ooty and came back with fond memories of both the resort and the Niligris mountains. To start with, the resort is at the right location with almost a birds eye view of the mountains. And it is not very far from other site seeing locations. The resort has some excellent trips to nearby tea estates and wild life areas like Mudumalai. The activities in the resort itself is good enough to enjoy and rejuvenate oneself. We were fortunate to have tasted some good food ranging from Rajasthani to Chettinad styles. This place is very good for both elderly as well as active kids. We would love to go there once again and enjoy the pollution free air. More » « Hide
