The destination no doubt is one of the best, provided one actually puts up at the Tourist Lodge.... .. The destination no doubt is one of the best, provided one actually puts up at the Tourist Lodge. Please do not expect 5 star services from the staff. On actual grounds giving a 5 star service is not possible in that isolated location. Kalimpong is one of the beautiful hill stations which is still untouched by the waves of..... Kalimpong is one of the beautiful hill stations which is still untouched by the waves of commercialization. The entire route from Salugara to Kalimpong soothes the eyes with serene green mountains, densely vegetated valleys and waterfalls. The Teesta river boldly cuts through the valley and adds up to the beauty of the hills. The weather is pleasant, there r bouts of rains due to the passing clouds though. Amazing serenity, silence and peace... the staff at OTDC hotel at Talshari are amazingly friendly..... Amazing serenity, silence and peace... the staff at OTDC hotel at Talshari are amazingly friendly and warm... people are simple, sea is blue and the sand is white.... the breeze of eucalyptus is gentle and soothing ... a must try get-away for extended weekends... food is amazing, only one has to be conscious about the rice... there might be a variety of available insects as well, the place being full of trees !!!
