Village Tungroli, Chakrata, District Dehradun Tungroli is a small Jaunsari village located in Dehradun district, in uttarakhand around 140 km far from Dehradun (40 km from Chakrata), Loacted between the Tons and Yamuna rivers, it is located an altitude of 4190 feet above sea level. Tungroli is declared a revenue Village in 2008-09. Tungroli is a part of Khat Bangoun, Teshil Chakrata, and the nearby village of the Tungroli are Shirba, Bangoti, Mayarwana, Buraswa & Rawna, Pati. This village is known by the Name of Late Shri Rati Tam Negi. who has devoted his full life for the upbringing of pupil and all the nearby places of Jaunsar. He has always been concerned for all the society member discreet of any caste. He had been a good leader too and was the active member for his party. He has also been cherished with two sons and two daughters who have settled down in their own life and they too devoting there services for the needful pupil and the society. Mr. Negi was died after a critical illness of Cancer on 8th December 1998 at the age of 63 years. Village Tungroli is the scenic and serene place the inhabitants and pure pious and simple pupil with there deity God being Mahasu Deveta. The place is highly recommended for pilgrim tourist and nature lovers.
