The Borei Angkor is a superb 5 star hotel located in Siem Reap; The hotel offers great value for money; The rooms were roomy and airy and the bathroom had a nice big tub. The sheets were clean and the AC was perfect. The hotel throws in breakfast and Free Wi-Fi; the international breakfast buffet was as good as you will get anywhere and remember we are talking of a place in cambodia far from any large city; The Staff are very polite and go the extra mile to help you; the hotel has its own set of Tuk Tuk drivers who dont over charge; the hotel is about 15 kms from the Angkor Wat site; The Pool and the spa are the highlights of the hotel; Spa offers Khmer Messages at a very good price; the pool side bar offers drinks and snakes at reasonable prices. Petra on it's own is a great destination. It's truly a ROCK-ing city as the whole city is carved... .. Petra on it's own is a great destination. It's truly a ROCK-ing city as the whole city is carved out of well - ROCK! The colours and the history is truly amazing and the sights and sounds truly make it a wonder of the world. The Movenpick is located right at the entrance of the ruins and this makes the hotel simply brilliant. you walk out of the hotel and walk into the ancient city itself. The Movenpick is Swiss and one can clearly see it; Its clean, efficient and so beautiful, words fail to describe it. More » « Hide
