If you have come all the way to see the review then this is not the hotel for you...I had not go as Club Inn holiday solutions, Bangalore suggested it is their best hotel. I just wanted to spend quality time with my family without sight seeing. Palaka resort seemed to... .. I just wanted to spend quality time with my family without sight seeing. Palaka resort seemed to be ideal with lots of activities thrown in for kids though I was little skeptical as it is not well known. We spent 3 days and time just flew by. The resort offered us spacious room with dish tv and 24 hours power backup. The food was good too luckily no buffet. The service was excellent with lots of personal touch and dishes that were prepared which we liked. The kids enjoyed a lot in the well maintained pool and kids play area. I recommend this place especially if you want to keep your kids happy. More » « Hide

We stayed there for my wife\'s birthday as we did not want to travel outside Bangalore as our daughter is just 10 months old. The room was simple and neat without a TV. We could imagine how the tribals live in a tree house. During the night we were bit scared and hoped that there are no gusty winds. It was paradise! We went there in the month of June to enjoy the monsoon. The road to the resort... .. It was paradise! We went there in the month of June to enjoy the monsoon. The road to the resort is not in good condition and it is intentional as the resort is in the rain forests of Wayanad. We did not encounter rain during our drive to the resort but once we entered the resort, it started raining. There were short breaks inbetween the rain spells. From main land to rain land, we thought. This was an unique experience. It rains in Wayanad but it rains a lot in Vythiri resort. More » « Hide
