Hotel staff specially receptionist-Mr.Arun, was very rude,arrogant...he refused to issue receipt when we paid full amount of the bill.he even don't know how to talk with the customers,very very bad treatment.never go to this hotel.bathrooms were not clean,tea/coffee sachets were missing and given after long time when we asked for them, and forget about refilling, cups...in all they were not professional. also take everything in writing from the hotel cause, when we booked the hotel they said tax in included in our quotation but when i asked for receipt they asked for 9% tax...and refused to issue receipt...they just want every single penny from you without giving anything back...they forget that they are in the service industry...they are charging for their service...they think you are living because of their mercy....it really hurt...also, when u go out to roam around, street vendors, rickshaw driver, so called tour guide will keep you asking for trip to nearby sightseeing places..and will charge u like anything...but actually all the sightseeing places except wagha border are very near to Golden Temple.so called tour guide will irritate you.they will not give you time to talk with your family(group) they will just stand/walk next to you and keep asking and talking and irritating you......they just want your money and don't wanna help you....the prices are very high for nothing....you can get same goods in your city for very cheap price....same thing is there in Delhi....all the Good Image about Punjab and Delhi is wiped off...now just bad image is in our mind....so please be cautious while traveling to Amritsar and Delhi. And avoid visit if possible...!
