if u r a business traveler, going to travel to mumbai / thane by train, having a stay of couple... .. if u r a business traveler, going to travel to mumbai / thane by train, having a stay of couple of days-nights & have to travel to thane vicinity by train then this is the perfect destination, no need to search any further. not recommended for travelers on holiday / vacations. best part is location at stone throw distance from platform no 2 of thane rly station and yet complete absence of railway station & heavy traffic disturbance of city. rooms are neat & clean. compared to other hotels found at railway stations, this is quite good and economical. staff is polite. service was on time. didn't have dinner/lunch there but from the taste of their complementry breakfast, food must be tried at one's own risk. however, good restaurants are there nearby. Situated next to an ideal location for a beach holiday, nitya resort is some 20-25 minutes’ walk able distance from CALANGUTE beach. The resort is comparatively smaller, which makes it a more preferred destination for an overcrowded holiday place like goa. Rooms are decorated beautifully. Ambiance of room is good enough to pass one’s whole day in the resort. Overall ambience of the hotel will remain calm and peaceful even if it is full completely. Behaviour of the staff is very good. Service is quick and without any excuses. They serve with smile in real sense. Quality of food is better, if not awesome. The resort has a transparent kitchen, found rarely. Choice for complimentary breakfast is limited but quality of food is so maintained to its standards that one will hardly ever think of anything beyond that. For vegetarians, choice of food is limited. But it is good enough to have one’s meals at the resort for couple of times. Ambiance of restaurant is ok. Small swimming pool & spa are available at resort. The resort is situated in calangute market but that is not an issue with peace of the resort. Facility to hire a bike is available just outside of the resort. BAGA-ANJUNA-VAGTOR beach & CHAPORA FORT are at around the distance of 40 minutes maximum on bike, on one side of the resort. On the other side there is CANDOLIM- SINQUERIM beach & AGUDA FORT at 30 minutes of bike ride. One can also have a casual walk to CALANGUTE BEACH via CALANGUTE MARKET. Though the hotel has very strategic location near industrial area of pimpri-chinchvad, the hotel staff is not concerned about retaining customers. Rooms are not maintained up to the mark. One will find only one light working out of five in room and AC will be working frighteningly - resembling of horror movies. The staff has tendency to take things for granted and they do not show any concern about customer’s time. The hotel, of course, has a beautiful terrace restaurant from where one can have a beautiful view of the city. But this thing gets nullified with overall appearance and ambience of hotel. Available potentials are not used to its optimum. At the end of stay, customer will feel like treated casually. More » « Hide
