Our first visit to Shantiniketan was memorable, a big thanks to RTDR for making it so. We stayed here for 3 nights and had an excellent time. At the price we were charged, I could not have asked for any more amenities, they included Water heater, AC, LCD tv, Mini fridge, ample storage place as in almirahs, cane furniture, comfortable bed and a very clean room and surroundings. Our room had a big window from where you can get a view of the beautiful flower garden below. There was also a beautiful sit out on the 1st floor where we spend most of the time chatting over a cup of tea. We had a package which included break fast and dinner. Food was freshly prepared, tasted good and served hot. Though I felt the cost of food was a bit high. The garden was very well maintained and had a swing, two beautiful sitouts and a model hut in it.Last but not the least the staff were very helpful.
