The historic places - Badami, Pattadakkal and Aihole are well maintained - 100% to the ASI and..... The historic places - Badami, Pattadakkal and Aihole are well maintained - 100% to the ASI and Tourism dept. The infrastructure to reach them are badly maintained and is really tiresome. We are at the mercy of the fleecing private transporters. Some one, the Govt or the tourism dept should consider developing the roads too. More » « Hide

Away from the crowded places yet walkable from Bus stand / market / caves, the hotel provides an exclusive charm. The charges are reasonable - and the food quality was good. A good experience - A family, staying there, has converted part of their house as a guest house... .. A good experience - A family, staying there, has converted part of their house as a guest house and runs it. Totally 5 rooms in all. It is clean and good to stay. It is very close to Bus stand and Virupkasha temple - a distinct advantage. If you are planning to spend the day touring around the place and looking for a shelter only to spend the night, this is right place. This is not a hi-fi type guest house, but more like staying in a friend\'s outhouse. I and my wife enjoyed the stay. More » « Hide
