I loved the experience of being at the Alidia. Booking was a cinch and though they didn\'t have rooms, the staff informed us of the dates and were very transparent about the whole thing.
As soon as you enter the resort, you are surrounded by greenery and wooden sculptures, making the place look very exotic. You walk down to the rooms on a garden path. There is a restaurant and a pool for your use. The restaurant again is set amidst trees, making meals a very pleasant experience.
The hotel has different block where you can take up accommodation. Ours was a pool facing suite. The pool cradled in a mesh of plants gave a lovely view from the balcony. The rooms were clean and had nicely done wooden interiors. Paintings and vases added some character to the room. The usual fridge and the TV were there. The suite accommodated 4 people and there was a door to separate the two sleeping areas. There were also two balconies, one with a view of the pool and other looked inwards.
The bathroom was especially nice too. A large bathroom and heated water were taken for granted here. The shower had different settings for the type of mood you are in and how you want the water flow. Most importantly, both the bathroom and the room were squeaking clean.
The staff at the reception were very pleasant and extended their support in booking a cab, leaving behind luggage in the stock room, late check-outs etc.
