Living in Mumbai, I\'ve seen the city conditions go from ok to good, from good to bad and sometimes again it\'s back to ok. About Portblair, we were so amazed to know that the roads there are so well maintained, there\'s cleanliness all around. Of course if a place is a tourist attraction, the Govt will take care of it like anything. A city surrounded by sea, a small island, whatever you call it, Portblair will leave you mesmerized and you wouldn\'t want to come back from there. More » « Hide

First of all, as soon as you land at Portblair, you\'ll be so mesmerized by the place that... .. First of all, as soon as you land at Portblair, you\'ll be so mesmerized by the place that you\'ll forget everything else. For us this started even before landing at Portblair. The view from the plane was so beautiful, we wondered if there were parachutes and if we were allowed to land slowly enjoying the breathtaking view. Nevertheless, once we landed safely and reached the hotel, we were pleasant to see a clean good looking building and a garden surrounding it. The reception welcomed us very well and we got our welcome drink straight away. Our room was very well cleaned every thing was perfectly placed. The view from the balcony was so good that we wouldn’t have mind even spending a whole day at the hotel room watching the waves hit the boundaries of the hotel\'s property. The bathroom, although a bit small, was OK with hot and cold water facilities. The television, was tiny but who cares we weren’t there to sit in front of the idiot box. Room service was quick and efficient. Overall the 6 days that we spent at Andaman were splendid and memorable. And, the hotel stay did contribute it’s best to our memories. More » « Hide

Cavala is a perfect place that you\'d be looking to stay at when you go to Goa with an intention... .. Cavala is a perfect place that you\'d be looking to stay at when you go to Goa with an intention to relax and have fun and even party with a limited budget. The resort is about 1-2 minutes walk from Baga Beach, and is located away from the busy market area. This really makes the atmosphere around, quiet and relaxed. Rooms are decent very clean and the tariffs are quite affordable. Staff is good, polite and very friendly just, a little slow but its negligible. The main attraction for all the party animals would be the Friday Night Live Music!! Over all I would definitely recommend this hotel!! More » « Hide

Palolem certainly is the best beach in Goa. Although we spent only a few hours we enjoyed and..... Palolem certainly is the best beach in Goa. Although we spent only a few hours we enjoyed and admired the beauty of the place so much that we have planned our next trip to Goa to be in and around palolem. The bike ride that we took from Colva to Palolem showed us some really mesmerizing views of rural goa. The roads leading to Palolem from Colva involved non-dangerous but adventurous Ghats. I\'d recommend that if you do happen to take up the ROAD trip on a bike to or fro Palolem-Colva, do take the inside roads rather than taking the National Highway 17. More » « Hide
