Add a touch of snow on the peak resting ever so lightly. Lots of cloud cover. Pretty women all around. Pristine beauty. Comparitively less polluted environs. Thats Sikkim for you. Possibly the greenest state in the country. Excellent sight seeing spot and the Konchendzonga overlooks you from almost everywhere in the state like Big Brother. So majestic, so gigantic but yet so graceful. A welcome respite for stressed travellers who want to take time off and just sack out. More » |

Lonar Crater is an excellent place to visit for people who love trekking and nature at its resplendent best! Located some 160 kms from Aurangabad, its easily accesible by car / bus. The nearest railway station is Jalna on Manmad-Nanded society. The crater is close to 7 kms in circumference and close to 170 meters deep. It was formed close to 50,000 years ago due to a meteoric impact. It also has an unique form of ecological system there which isnt found anywhere else so easily. There are a few temples (seven, i guess) around the palce which are also worth a visit. Whats more, its India's only impact crater! More » |
