Colombo is a great place for a short relaxed stay and has a lot to offer. Taj Samudra is very strategically located right opposite the beach and the room offered an awesome view of the Indian Ocean!!! While the overall rooms and service is great - however the hotel does not have much activities to offer within the hotel.
