Excellent location on MG Road. Easy walking distance to most shopping areas including to Brigade... .. Excellent location on MG Road. Easy walking distance to most shopping areas including to Brigade Road and Church Street. If you are on a business trip too, this is a great downtown location. The hotel has a strong garden theme and the central garden (around which all the restaurants are placed ) is a very peaceful place. The famed Oberoi service continues here. More » « Hide

I stayed in the old wing and it was great. The location just beside the Gateway of India is... .. I stayed in the old wing and it was great. The location just beside the Gateway of India is lovely; do try a promenade on the waterfront early in the morning before the city wakes up. I found it very refreshing. The Sea Lounge is a beautiful place to grab a cup of cofee or even get brunch/lunch. The old wing has great style and compares well with many fancy hotels across the world that i have had a chance to stay in. More » « Hide

It is in a small lane in the old quarter of south Bombay. The rooms are quite small. The room fittings must have been very smart & elegant when they were first fitted, but look a bit worn now.
