We booked sleeper AC coach bus in kpn travel from Chennai to Kodaikanal. The outside and inside of that bus was nice. The bed and pillow cover little bit dust. Correct time they get start. There is no water bottle and no stand in our berth for put luggage.

Very pleasant to travel by road to Kodaikanal. It took 10 hrs to drive from Chennai. Climate was very pleasant to drive in the early morning. Do not miss Dindugal biriyani en-route to Kodaikanal. Please do not pollute hill station with plastics. Drive safe during hill road being same is very narrow some times.
We took train in night journey in 3 A/C. It was comfortable and pleasant journey. As it was night hours, we were able to sleep well and relaxing. The services in coach were good. The train maintained its schedule and reached Madurai next day early morning. Then we hired taxi to travel by Road to Kodaikanal. It was really excellent experience amid-st cool breeze and green on Ghat Roads with dark clouds keep appearing. We enjoyed nice forest fruits varieties on way. It too about 3 hrs to reach hotel.
Train travel was good. We travelled by three tier AC. As always Pandian Express will be on time and the train was in good condition. We got down at Kodai Road by 04. 30 Am and we hired a taxi. We reached Kodaikanal at 7 Am. On the way we covered two to three places like Silver Cascade Falls etc.
You must start early to reach before it becomes dark, if your travelling first time to this destination. The roads need touch up in certain places. Sign boards should be displayed in more places. After Trichy we had to enter the town because the fly over was not ready. This is a by pass bridge.
