Mode of Transport:Train
Travel by train was a great experience. However this train had so many stops but it gives a different experience all together. We saw small villages, different types and kinds of people from different culture and viewed cities like Cochin and many more on the way. Scenes in Kerala were very beautiful and all the farms, birds, few mountains and so many other things that I saw on the way will always remain in my memory and will always remind me giving a fresh feeling whenever I thought about it.

Mode of Transport:Train
I had picked this train as the journey time was less as compared to the other direct trains to Kanyakumari. We enjoyed nice view of lotus ponds during the travel. We travelled in 3rd AC and the train was delayed just for 15 minutes to reach the destination. From this station we can get auto/taxi to Kanyakumari. It was about a distance of 17 km.

I took a Nagercoil Express from Bangalore and reached Nagercoil in the morning then boarded at a point-to-point bus from there, these buses picks us up and drops us at the destination very quickly without stopping in between but the ticket fare is quite costly than normal buses.

I did not take any accommodation, as my trip was just half a day long, but you donít have to worry about your luggage as there is clock room where you can place your belongings without any hesitation.

Itís a sea paradise for sea found and sea side shopping, beautiful ferry ride, spiritual spot and raging waves will calm you down. Itís a must-see place if you are headed towards Southern India.

Mode of Transport:Train
The train was very well maintained in terms of cleanliness, hygiene, appearance, quality of food, punctuality, service, comfort etc. It seemed like one of the trains in Europe. There is newspaper available and food is included, you could compare it to one of the low budget flights. It is the best way to get to Vapi, Daman or Silvassa as it is fast and punctual.

Very good train Journey from Bangalore city station to Kanyakumari on 3 tier AC. No pantry car so food was a problem. Also it was delayed for one hour. Kanyakumari station is a small station hence you have to walk a lot to reach the other end of the station.

I stayed in The See Shore for one night (4th Day of our stay in Kanyakumari). The amenities and room design was good and we had some good facilities inside the hotel room which I did not expect actually. We had a separate shower room (glass room), safe lock box with number key and also a small...more »
