I was travelling by train after around two years. I stayed in Pune and since my train was from Mumbai we reached Mumbai at around 1:00 pm and had to wait till 7:00 pm to board the train to Jaipur. The waiting room at Mumbai Central were very good and well maintained. We boarded the train to Jaipur at 7:00 pm. The food in the train was good. But tea served was worst. It was just sweet colourful water. We had kids with us and the pantry staff was too helpful in preparing food for our kids time to time. One of our kid got fever on the way and we approached the TTE for help. The very next station a doctor was available for our help. Really happy to see such facilities in Indian Railway.

There are about four to five trains to go to Jaipur from Mumbai including Garib Rath. But Mumbai Central Jaipur SF Express is preferred by almost everyone simply because it is best. Its timing is the best and matches with office closing timing of Mumbaikar.

We were three people in all and booked accommodation in third AC. Sets were not so bad and provided bedding was neatly cleaned. Though the route does not provide great views but the food on passing station like Surat , Ratlam, Kota have a great taste for everyone. Kotas-Milk, bharuchi -singdana, ratlami sev all are mouth-watering.

Service of Railways - one can guess easily. But for this train, toilets are not so bad and there is no problem of beggar etc.

Since we were traveling in a group, we had lot of fun during our train journey. The train was value for price. You need to book the blankets and bed-sheets in advance as its not provided by default, as in other trains. The name is apt, its actually a Garib Rath. Happy Travelling.
