Lakshadweep food, sight-seeing and shopping options
Food is generally not my focus point on any trip, and on this trip this served me just as well, for the food on the ship reminded me of my engineering mess! While on the islands, I enjoyed the steady supply of coconut water, but that is pretty much it. Lakshadweep is still not the regular tourist destination to offer shopping and restaurants, which tips the scales in its favor. As for sight-seeing - anywhere you are, just look around and you will be impressed.

Quick Summary
Located with the sea on one side and a lagoon on the other, this resort offers cottages on the beach, nestled amidst coconut trees. The in-house restaurant serves the local cuisine and Continental and Chinese food as well. Activities here include scuba diving, snorkelling, sailing and kayaking. Agatti Island Beach Resort offers twenty independent cottages, Air conditioned and Non Air conditioned. There are two categories of cottages: Standard and Deluxe cottages. These eco-friendly cottages have facilities like fridge and satellite television (only in Air conditioned cottage). Other amenities include laundry, in-house restaurant, water sports, doctor on call, & internet.
