Perched at 1000 FSL in the Western Ghats is the Riverview Chiplun. It provides a view of the river Vashishti meandering at the foot of the hill. Conceptualized in 1988, constructed of thaapa stones, it is situated in Ratnagiri district of the Konkan region. Originally this 9 acre property provided a break to people driving down to Goa but now is a complete resort in itself. The resort has a multi cuisine restaurant & bar with the specialty of the restaurant being Malavni and Konkani cuisine.

Rooms & Amenities
The Lodge offers 37 air-conditioned rooms each with a large balcony overlooking the Vashishti River. All rooms are equipped with satellite television, mini bars, tea/coffee makers, electronic safes, data ports and attached bathrooms. Other services include complimentary station transfers to and from the railway station for all two day packages, 24-hour front desk, room service (limited hours), first aid & medical assistance, drivers dormitory, mini library, travel desk, business centre, indoor & outdoor games, health club & spa, internet, swimming pool, liquor license, in-house restaurant, laundry, money changer, VCD players & movie VCDs on request, Kiddies Corner, and Conference & banquet Facilities. Discotheques are open once a week. Credit cards accepted.
