Set in 8 acres at the foot of the Nilgiri Hills, Bear Mountain provides the base for outdoor lovers to explore the Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary, one of the largest game reserves in Southern India and part of the 5, 500 sq km Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve of the Western Ghats. The resort offers 12 cottages and campsites offering views of the Nilgiri. The multi-cuisine restaurant serves up Indian, Chinese & Continental fare. Activities include treks ranging from 20 minutes to 5 hours, swimming at the natural stream 10 minutes away, jeep safaris, elephant rides and indoor and outdoor games.

Rooms & Amenities
The twelve deluxe cottages have hot & cold water, bathtubs and showers. Campsites are completely under thatch and on a raised terrace with full bathrooms also with tubs, hot and cold water and changing/ locker facilities. Other amenities include multi-cuisine restaurant, laundry, money-changer and room service. Credit cards accepted.
