All types of food is available for vegeterians & non-vegeterians.Sight seeing is great......ooty lake,botanical garden,rose garden....or u can move to paykara lake...c the pine forests,dam...or go to coonoor...sim's park,tea gardensdolphin nose etc.Shopping is nothing great...except some oils....spices...& ooty carrots.

I visited during Christmas 2006. All staffs in the hotel are extremely helpful and courteous. The hotel is at an elevated level and hence you can see the entire Bus stand (not a great thing to see though) and hills...
