room service is slow, but overall value for money.

The Place Gangtok is really Switzerland of Eastern India but the Hotel is really bad in comparison to the tarriff

Overall experience at Sikkim was amazing!...If there is anything called heaven...Sikkim would be the closest to it! People are good, friendly and warm. A grand mix of adventure, spiritualism, sightseeing and chilling out. Rates are not obnoxious....no ACs required and transport is pretty easily available at decent rates....A visit to Rumtek Mnastery, Nathula Pass, White water rafting, and simply driving through the mounains are things not to be missed!

Best Experience: The most exciting part was the white water rafting on river Teesta...amazing rapids and a serene ambience....you got to experience it to beleive it! The trek to Nathula pass, standing on the border of Inia and China, with one leg in Indian side and the other in the Chinese side....the border is separated by just one barbed wire....experience of shaking hands with the Chinese soldiers and later on sitting quietly at the Rumtek Monastery is pure bliss. Waking up at 4.30 in the morning to see the complete Kanchendzonga range from your own balcony at Pelling was invigorating!

Worst Experience: Gangtok closes down by 9.00 PM....Just one discotheque available, that too opens on some days of the week. Some cabbies take you for a ride ...actually and otherwise....got fleeced once!
