rooms were dirty, no hot water, worst experience

the hotel is of average arrangement without proper maintance.

The hotel is located at a remote place. However it is quiet calm. Entertains more the local population. The staff are all very cordial and helpful in assisting tourists. Since the booking is done through Big Travels as recommended by Holiday IQ have no experience of booking at the counter on arrival. Booking done through Big travels on line. Check in was very quick. The overall service was good and we enjoyed of stay there. A limited variety of vegetarian food was available. Practically there is no leisure activity and one cannot expect it as the place is close to historical places of tourist interest and the may not find time for such activities. The only sourcr of entertainment during the stay at the hotel was TV.

Best Experience: We were to board a train on return journey which is scheduled to arrive at Badami station at 4:30 AM and the staff could arrange a Taxi for dropping us at Railway station in the odd hours.

Worst Experience: Nothing, since our stay at the hotel room was limited.

Badami being a historic place, we expected KSTDC which usually promotes Tourism to have a good quality hotel, but to my surprise It was worst than I could have imagined. I had Booked 3 room but got only 2 room and had to wait for 6 hrs to get the 3rd room, when I quested the manager just told me that the people who have occupied have not returned yet..The other 2 rooms which was given to us stinked like hell. when questioned the manager he said they have moped just know it will be fine after sometime..

Best Experience: We got shelter and restroom.. along with crawling spiders, cobwebs, lizards etc.

Worst Experience: 1. The Rooms are full of cobwebs, you can even spot some wild spiders not sure if poisonous. 2. Rooms Stink, after the constant request they spray room freshener which mixes with the stinking smell and become almost impossible to stay in the room. 3. Don't expect Room service. ( They will not provide) 4. Its more or less like a storage room you can see cots and wardrobes stored in the corridor. 5. No hot water, . The shower is rusted so have to use a bucket which I am not sure if its been used also for mopping. 6. Nothing like reservation, they will not value time.. if the checking is at 12:00 Noon they might request you to visit the badami cave and return back to check into the room. 7. Worst Hotel I had ever been to. It's unfortunate its been handled by Karnataka

Very pleasnt experience. I would like to revisit this Hotel, if I had to go to Badami again. Away from the crowded places yet walkable from Bus stand / market / caves, the hotel provides an exclusive charm. The charges are reasonable - and the food quality was good. Overall ambience, with nice paintings around, was very good.

Best Experience: I booked through internet. The whole process was very efficient, guided by polite and good trained persons.

Worst Experience: None.
