|
Gujarat is the westernmost state of India, a part of it projecting out into the Arabian Sea. It shares an international border with Pakistan in the northwest and common borders with the states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, and the Union Territories of Diu, Daman and Dadra & Nagar Haveli. Gujarat can be divided into three geographical regions: the eastern region that has the major cities of Ahmedabad, Surat and Vadodra; the Saurashtra region between the Gulf of Cambay and the Gulf of Kutch; the northern region of Kutch which is a salty desert. This is the most industrialised state in the country and contributes about one-fifth of the total industrial output of India. SAPUTARA - A JOURNEY IN PEACE!
| Overview of the destinationI basically wanted to go to a less commercial & crowded place on a vacation with my family. Then I came across Saputara. We stayed Food, sight-seeing and shopping To see around Saputara you require max 1 day! It?s so small. But you will love the long quiet walks with your wife (or your Activities & things to do Saputara has very little activity of its own, but it does not matter if you like to be at peace with your self. You can Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc. From Mumbai the best way to reach Saputara is via Nasik. It?s 75km from Nasik & 265km from Mumbai. The roads are good. |
