Arunachal Pradesh is the land of the rising sun, as it is the eastern-most state among the seven sisters. The main highlight of Arunachal Pradesh tourism is the remote and secluded Buddhist monasteries of Bomdila and Tawang. Another tourism highlight is the Namdhapa National Park, a dense forest along the banks of the Brahmaputra with many rare animals, including the tiger. The gateway to Arunachal Pradesh tourism is the capital city of Ziro where you can witness the life of the local tribal people and shop for colourful handicrafts, shawls and textiles.
