Arunachal Pradesh is the land of the rising sun, as it is the eastern-most state among the seven sisters. The main highlight of Arunachal Pradesh tourism is the remote and secluded Buddhist monasteries of Bomdila and Tawang. Another tourism highlight is the Namdhapa National Park, a dense forest along the banks of the Brahmaputra with many rare animals, including the tiger.
