Qila Androon - this is the large palace complex with 10 courtyards, and many decorated rooms and mahals.
Rang Mahal and Sheesh Mahal - these are the two most spectacular mahals with frescoes and mirror work on the walls. Sheesh Mahal has a gallery of miniature paintings.
Durbar Hall - a dazzling assembly hall with chandeliers, carved balconies and murals, this is now a museum.
The Golden Temple(Harmandir Sahib) - The Golden temple of Amritsar, known as swarn mandir or swarna mandir, located in Punjab, is the famous pilgrimage place for sikhs in India.
Imagining Punjab in the Age of Globalization - Though Punjab was reorganised as a separate state of independent India on the basis of language, it is often seen as a land of the Sikhs, despite the fact that Hindus and Muslims were in larger numbers in the region.
