Delhi - a truly royal experience!
Overview of the destination
Delhi is our capital, and rightly so. As one steps into the city, one feels an air of royalty around. The Rashtrapati Bhavan area, Qutab minar, the beautiful & peaceful Bahai temple were my favourite sites to see. But I cannot afford to miss mentioning the buzz at Chandi Chowk and the awesome food at Paranthe-wali gali... ! Delhi Rocks!

Food, sight-seeing and shopping
As I mentioned before, Delhi is a traveller's delight. Its a place to learn about India's history & culture. For instance, the sound and light show at the Red Fort was truly an amazing experience. Delhi is a shopper's paradise! Of all the places I visited, I absolutely loved Sarojini Nagar market for the clothes and chappals, PVR Priya for the brands and Janpath for the cool jholas!

Dont take the public transport! Rickshaws are efficient but bargain with the rickshawallas before you take the ride. Renting a car is a slightly expensive option, but worth it.
