If you're on for a short vacation, Daman is just not the place for you... the beaches are horrible, and the food is even more terrifying... the liquor is cheap but you wont be able to enjoy it... Try Diu instead if you can... Nice and serene beach(Nagoa beach is tha best amongst others), good food, water sports, classy churches to visit, and good service at the hotels... the only problem is that most of the good hotels allow only couples to stay.. but stags can have good options like Rasal Resort and a few others at the Nagoa beach. Although the connectivity is a bit rough to Diu but the time spent here is worth it..... Food, sight-seeing and shopping
Food at rusal resort is good. Dub chick bar is a nice place to sit, drink, and enjoy the view of the sea even in the noon time. Activities & things to do
Water Sports, hanging out with friends at the shore. Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc.
If you are on personal vehicle then its best as you can utilize a day visiting somnath, etc. Even Taxis are available at reasonable rate for the sightseeing. |
