Food, sight-seeing and shopping
Goa always welcome people who want new flavours and cuisines.. beach shacks are must visit thing to get some real good food.... if you are budget conscious.. you can try some local shops for local taste.... for sight seeing.. all of us know that goa is famous for beaches.. south goa beaches like Colva are really beautiful and long as compared to north goa beaches (calangute, baga etc.) one thing that people miss while in Goa that goa also have a rich mountain and trees area also.. while in south goa.. you can go for go -kart.. a kart sport which is situated on the hills and you have to have a personal vehicle to go there.. but it has some of the beautiful scenes and adventures... for shopping.. south Goa is not a destination.. you have to visit panaji city or north Goa.. cashew of Goa is world famous.. so.. buy some different types of cashews that are very easily available in the panaji city.. frankly speaking you will not get a fair deal while shopping in Goa.. so.. personally I dont visit goa with shopping in mind.. go there for fun, pleasure, adventure and leisure....

Activities & things to do
you can have numerous activities to do there.. to list a few... - visit churches, forts, temples.. - hire a bike and explore the real goa.. - while at colva beach try water sports.. you can find water sports like.. parasailing, speed boating, dolphin ride, banana ride.. banana ride you can get at north goa beaces (calangute and baga) all others are available majorly on colva baga, calangute etc.. but the rates are cheaper in colva than in north goa..... Go for cruise rides.. in panaji city.. try to visit the near by islands by ferry.. for eg. CHARAO island which have some temples, a bird sanctuary etc.. buy a Goa map and explore Goa.. the experience is mazing

Do a good search before planning about resorts and hotels.. try to bargain.. Goa is easily reachable by train, bus, flights...
