Food, sight-seeing and shopping
Best restaraunts in Goa - Martin's Corner Margao, Mums Kitchen Panaji, Coffee Shop Taj Fort Agauda, Fidalgo for Vegetarian and all shacks on beach. I would rate Vivek Shack in Coco Beach which serves some amazing prawns. Sight seeing - All the famous Churches are a must see, old portugese buildings in Panaji, River cruise on Mandovi river (remember to see the smugglers house while on cruise), Coco Beach, Candolim & Baga Beach are the best, Ingo's Saturday night market, Club Cabana if you love night life. For Shopping - 18th June Road, Panaji is the place to go shopping for cashew shopping. Remember to pick up some Port Wine and cashew fene. In port wine one the good one's is St Anne.

Lot of activities for all kinds of people: Go see churches. River crusie on Mandovi river Water sports on beaches Massage on beaches While getting massage or water sports, you can really bargain and get good deals.

Travel tips, How to reach, travel warnings etc.
I had driven down from Bangalore which is about 650Kms and takes about 10 hrs of driving. Roads are excellent so the time will purely depend on which car and how fast can you go as traffic is hardly there inspite of it being NH4. Carry sun screen lotion, caps and cotton clothes which are comfortable. Dont forget to carry your beachwear. You need to be careful of the waves and the shoreline if you arent a good swimmer. If travelling with children you need to be extra careful.
