Food, sight-seeing and shopping
Well shopping happens at a street corner opposite Mandovi River. Also at Dona Paulo Street can be an alternate option. You can bargain and get the right deal. Sea food is the speciality. Poultry and lamb varieties are also in plenty. Beaches are a good target to visit apart from Fort, Dona Paulo, Temples, Churches which include Bom Basilica which is the final resting place of St. Francis of Assisi whose mortal remain is preserved. The next halt can be St. Catherine opposite Bom Basalica.

Activities & things to do
Beaches can be targeted for boating and relaxation on the sand bank. Rest is best for viewing and shopping if possible simultaneously.

To Reach you can opt 2 ways i.e. air and rail. Fly to Goa Airport and your hotel vehicle would be there to pick you up. Rail down to Madgaon and your hotel vehicle would be there to pick you up.
